My reason for buying a Hewlett Packard desktop computer is, looking back on it, not the brightest thing I've done. Since I am going to grad school on a grant from the Packard Foundation I wanted to support the company whose co-founder cared so much about education so I chose an HP product. Good thing I like my choice...
Since I didn't want to have to buy a new computer for a while, I sprung for what I thought was the best I could afford in a 3 GHz computer. I selected the HP m7060n Media Center Photosmart Desktop PC because I wanted the ability to play 3-D games and get creative with videos and music.
Overall I've been rather pleased though I should probably add a graphics card for better gaming. I will be graduating soon and figured I wouldn't have so much time for games soon so I am glad to have a variety of media tools for future use. Never can tell what I will need my computer to do but I am pretty sure my HP m7060n Media Center will do the trick.
