I was required to buy this calculator for a calc class I was taking in college to prepare for my MBA studies. I actually like this calculator and, eight years later, am still using it. I was required to buy a different calculator for my finance class but took it back because the Texas Instruments TI-82 was far superior. The graphing abilities of the calculator amazed me and has been useful in a variety of courses. The calculator comes with a hard cover and it has an automatic shut-off feature. I have never had any problems with it but suggest holding on to the user's guide--this bad boy can do some amazing things but the programming directions are critical to its success.
