Unlike other alpha hydroxy acids, L-Lactic acid holds moisture in the skin and increases ceramides, natural lipids, that moisturize the skin. FOR OPTIMAL USE: Smooth over clean skin twice daily to reduce redness, blemishes, and other signs of inflammation. Use with Alexis M.D. PH Balancing Toner for best results.
