[EL1 ALPS 10K for PS4 Controller] – 4x replacement analog joystick work with PlayStation DualShock 4 controllers. The thumbstick module was made by ALPS. This RKJXV stick controller series comes with 10KΩ trimmer potentiometers. EL1 is widely used in PS4, Slim and Pro controllers and other brands like ‘Scuf’ and ‘Raiju Ultimate’ [Compatibility] – We offer two ALPS models for PS4 and PS5. The difference is the resistance value of the potentiometer. Normally, you can distinguish them from the color of the side plastic. EL1 is 10K ohm in gray, while EL6 is 2.1K in black or Green. We strongly suggest measuring the resistance value before ordering [Additional Resistor] – Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting [When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan [Reminder of DIY] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. We suggest replacing the potentiometers first to solve most of the joystick problems. To desolder the entire joystick module off PCB by a normal soldering iron, please take a look at the desoldering kit at product ID: B0BK7169M8, Platforms: PlayStation 4
