• The Tornado is 12" long x 13" wide and is the most famous NEL search coil. It is "golden" in finding coins, treasures, and artifacts in the field of military battles in any region world-wide. The coil is DoubleD in design and is unusually light for its size and weighs in at 19.7 Ounces, 560 Grams with coil cover. Easily search for a whole day! Working with a slow swing will maximize its ability in finding not only large and medium targets but small targets which weigh less than 1g as well. This coil is superior to a standard coil in depth by 20% with approximately 10% more ground coverage. It is recommended as a replacement for standard coils. The coil is waterproof and fully submersible, the body is filled with epoxy resin. Additionally a black protective coating, the same as used on marine boats, makes it possible to use the coil without coil cover. The coil copes excellently with high and medium soil salinity.
