Good speakers did not attain their status without effort. Nothing good comes easy. Instead, they read good books, listened to skilful speakers as mentors and practiced hard to develop themselves. No matter how well you now speak, there’s room for improvement. The difference between a good and bad speaker lies, not wholly in the topic of discourse, but in the style, skill and disposition of the speaker. While you might not be able to control audience response to your message, your knowledge and delivery skill can turn a dry topic to an engaging speech. We have worked real hard to produce a book that can help you transform to an engaging speaker, one who leaves lasting impression on the audience. The goal is to help you speak with ease and more effectiveness. Your speech delivery, in private or public arena, will not remain the same after you read through this book or manual. You’d find that it is well written, in simple and straight forward English, to help you understand the issues and be involved in the conversation. About The Author Godwin holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from a notable University and worked in the news media for two decades.Done with reporting and editing the news, he joined the multinational oil and gas company, Chevron, and worked overseas as Communications Consultant for the West African Gas Pipeline project. In that role, Godwin played active part in the successful execution of the complex project, the first of its kind in the region. Among other things, he helped to sell the tenets of the project to key stakeholders, through countless public speeches and advocacy campaigns. Afterward, he floated a public relations firm, through which he renders strategic communication services to politicians, businesses and social groups.
