Tone deaf,
11/12/2006
My daughter is in middle school and wanted to be in the select choir with her three best friends. Unfortuantly for her, we never really had much music around the house when she was a child and I'm tone deaf so I could not really be of much help to her in learning to sing well (she doesn't see her dad much). I can't afford professional singing lessons but I did splurge on the Singing Coach Unlimed software package (from Carry-A-Tune Technologies--wonder what other products they make? HA!). It is simple enough that my young teenager can work the program and interesting enough that she uses it frequently. Singing Coach Unlimited has made an impact on my daughter's singing abilities. I don't know if just helped her confidence or actually trained her to be a better singer but whatever it is, the software has made a huge difference. She has a second audition for the select choir next week and is very excited!
