This is the second electric mower I've owned. The first one was a Ryobi and it sucked. It broke after a few months and even when I took it in to be fixed at a Ryobi dealership it didn't work. They sent me a refurbished one but it didn't work more than a year so I bought this Black and Decker MM575 18" Lawn Hog Electric Mulching Mower. I have a small yard so it works well for me but I can see it being a nightmare in a large space (too many extension cords needed). The grass that is cut is perfect for mulching so it saves me time and since gas is getting so expensive, using and electric mower is smart. I bet this mower will pay for itself. It certainly is a cleaner and quieter option than stinky gas-powered options.
