This CURT 5th wheel hitch head is rated for 30,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 7,500 pounds vertical load, and it is thoroughly tested to SAE J2638 specifications SMOOTH RIDE. Constructed with a cast yoke, multi-directional head, PowerRide tilts with the 5th wheel trailer to ensure smooth towing. It also has interlocking jaws that fully wrap the kingpin attachment SELF-RESETTING HANDLE. The handle of this 5th wheel hitch head automatically resets after uncoupling, saving you a step when coupling next time. It also features a 3-position indicator to show the coupling status EASY TO RELOCATE. The PowerRide 5th wheel trailer hitch breaks down into smaller, lighter weight pieces for easier relocation, featuring one-pin head removal.
