We recommend that since these are waterproof to place the shade sail at an angle to allow rain to run off without collecting on top of the shade. Durable- For secure installation we have placed copper grommets every 2 feet along all four edges. In each corner you'll find durable D-rings that make it easy to tie down with rope, bungees or even zip ties depending on how you want it to look. There is also strong stitching along the edges so it doesn't fray over time. Usage- Our Coarbor shades are ideal for anywhere you need shade as well as blockage from the rain during winter time.
