ElecGear FU-10K

ElecGear 8X FU 10K Trimmer Potentiometer Replacement for Some PS3, PS4 DualShock, Switch Pro Wireless Controllers, Trim Pot Resistor Thumbstick Module 3pin Sensor for Favor Union Analog Joystick - FU-10K

ElecGear FU-10K
  • [FU 10KΩ Potentiometer] –The replacement variable resistor was made by Favor Union (FU). It fits analog joysticks made by FU. This 10K ohm version was found in some PS3, PS4 DualShock controllers. FU reported that this orange sensor was also used in some Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, BDA (Power A) controllers [Compatibility] – FU sensors come in two different resistance values. This 10K version was printed 103. Make sure the value is around 10K ohm before ordering. (Be noticed: Choose 2.3KΩ version for some PS5 DualSense if you found FU joysticks inside. The potentiometer in orange made by FU is not compatible with joysticks made by ALPS.) [Additional Resistor] – Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting [For most joystick problem] – The potentiometer sensor needs to be replaced when the controller has the problem of creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. De-soldering the unit with only 3Pins will be a lot easier than replacing the entire joystick with as many as 14 prongs [Reminder of Replacement] – Use a pair of pliers to separate the problem sensor off the joystick module. Try to replace the wiper first, see if it works. De-solder the sensor off the PCB. A metal pick helps to clear the holes. Soldering the new unit in is a breeze. Remember to calibrate the new control sticks in settings
