• Brand New B&M Automatic Ratchet Quicksilver Shifter, Chrome with Black Base, Universal 3 & 4 Speed (Part #80683) Features a trigger-less shift handle. To access Reverse or Forward gears, lift the handle & pull back, then let the handle drop in gear. No need to lift the handle again to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park. From Drive, lift the handle straight up & this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. The reverse lockout feature meets NHRA & IHRA safety regulation. To use the ratcheting function at the strip, shift into low gear, launch the vehicle & hit the shifter forward when it is time to shift. You cannot over-shift & miss a gear. The chrome bezel, shift stick & knob are all accented by the black console, flat boot & deep blue medallion. The shifter includes a lighted gear position indicator in the bezel, a micro-switch for back-up lights and a neutral safety switch preventing accidental starts when in gear. Includes a 5-foot long performance shift cable, cable bracket, trans shift lever, all hardware and detailed instructions for an easy installation you can do at home.
