• The Hydro-Sponge Pro filter employs premium reticulated foam to deliver high flow rates, whisper-quiet operation, and even cleaner water for freshwater and saltwater fish without cartridge replacements or an impeller Quiet and easy to clean - simply rinse and squeeze in used tank water (not tap water!) to maintain nitrogen-fixing capability. Inner canister of filter can be filled with activated charcoal, carbon, or other media. Hooks up directly to a powerhead or pump, and the diffuser can replace air stones.
