Position the blade removal tool on the side of the mower blade and mower deck. 2. Tighten the clamp screw on the mower deck until the hold does not move. 3. Do not touch the edge of the blade with your hands, loosen the blade nut and take out the blade. NOTE: Be sure to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug and vent the gas from the mower tank before working on the blade. Make sure the plug wire is far enough away from the plug to avoid sparks jumping from the wire to the plug.
