Opteka's High Definition anti-reflective muticoatings have been applied to each of the lens elements, suppressing flare and ghosting while maintaining color fidelity. SUPER ZOOM: By eliminating the diaphragm found in standard lenses, the push/pull zoom design (the aperture changes with the focal length) provides perfectly circular out of focus point light sources and extremely smooth bokeh. The zoom function, which displays a focal length and aperture setting index, also includes a locking mechanism to avoid botched adjustments. INNER FOCUS: The wide, non-slip rubber manual focus ring controls an inner focus mechanism (the length of the lens does not change throughout the entire focus range), which aides in the prevention of accidental focus changes, and focus drift sometimes associated with some large zoom lenses.
