Alyssum Violet Queen is a re-seeding annual ground cover that grows best in USDA Zones: 3 - 9. Lobularia Maritima can grow in full sun to partial shade areas. These scented heirloom seeds are great for planting in containers, rock gardens, or flower bed borders adding the perfect splash of purple-violet flowers. Alyssum Violet Queen is low-growing, only reaching a height of 6 inches tall. Sow these fragrant flowers at 1000 seeds per 20 square feet and keep moist until germination. Transplant the young plants outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Space the plants 6 inches apart. Alyssum is known to reseed for next year’s display.
