The poles (EMT - Electrical Metallic Tubing) are sold in 10' lengths at any major hardware store. A Cowboy Canopy 10' x 20' A-Frame Kit uses 7 EMT conduit poles in size 1". A-Frame Kits have many different uses including camping shelters, livestock shelters, dog houses, and carports for small/medium size boats, motorcycles, jet skis, etc. They can also serve as solar panel stands, and much more. The A-Frame shelter is a favorite for Burning Man and other multi-day outdoor festivals. Four Anchor Stakes are included with this kit to secure it to the ground in windy conditions. The steel frame makes a strong structure or "tent for your tent." Cowboy Canopy uses only premium quality EMT Canopy Fittings. They are made of galvanized steel and are rust resistant. All welds are finely crafted, including the eye bolts which have 360-degree welds (no tack welds). Our Fittings are built to last decades. A-Frame Kits can be customized to a custom size to fit your needs. The A-Frame peak angle is 78-degrees, which means there are 18" of rise for every foot of run of the roof pole length. Knowing this information allows you to modify your pole lengths. Kits are listed in 10' increments because EMT conduit is sold in 10' poles. However, this can be changed. For example, a 10' x 20' kit can be custom fit to 10' x 16', or 8' x 12', etc. Eye bolt connections on each Fitting are user-friendly and convenient. No drills, screwdrivers, or advanced skills in construction needed. Simply tighten the eye bolts by hand and for a fast and easy set up.
