[Part Number] 1244A [Fitment] for 12-Volt negative ground systems. (Four & Six cylinder engines require a minimum of 3.0 ohms of primary resistance. Do not remove resistors ifthe coil primary resistance is less than 3.0 ohms.) [Function] The transistors are controlled by sensors to generate electric pulses which then generate a high voltage spark. [Installation] 1. Install Ignitor plate using the screw hole stamped for the correct rotation. 2. Fasten the Ignitor plate to the distributor beginning with the correctly stamped screw hole. 3. Install grommet into hole in the side of the distributor body. 4. Install magnet sleeve over distributor shaft, onto point cam. 5. Module and magnet sleeve air gap is not adjustable. 6. Reinstall dust shield, rotor spring tension clip, and rotor. 7. Install distributor cap. [Package] 1 set Electronic Ignition. Please confirm the fitment table and OE Number before purchasing.
