Adjust the second one to the witness mark you made on the fence and you have two points exactly the same distance from the miter slot, one at the front of your saw and one at the rear.Adjust your fence until it perfectly aligns to both points&boom,done. When you have your fence set for a certain critical cut, but you have to change it for something else.When you need to come back to exactly the same dimension later, don' t rely on the scale.Slide a Simple Set in the track and set the probe to the fence.
